How Did I Choose Which Red Coffee Makers to Show You?

Coffee and coffee-related equipment is the most common topic of conversation in my circles. Some people consider us coffee geeks but we rather think of ourselves as coffee enthusiasts.

Being so passionate about our java makes us knowledgeable about the coffee machines available on the market. I speak from experience. Also, I take people’s options and reviews into consideration when deciding which red coffee makers to show you.

Red Coffee Makers

  • Capacity: 12 cups
  • Programable brewing timer
  • Auto shut-off: 2 hours
  • Reusable, permanent filter
  • Inexpensive

This is my favorite red coffee maker because it gives you the most bang for your buck. No fancy gadgets and no complicated settings. Just a fantastic coffee maker at an affordable price. Did I mention it was red? of course I did, that’s why you’re here.

Betty Crocker is a popular brand around the country so you know what you’re getting. A great-looking, really efficient coffee machine that makes your kitchen look a little more alive.

I personally like the automatic brew setting. You can program your coffee maker to brew your morning cup of Joe so it’s ready for you when you wake up. It’s not a single-serve coffee maker so it’s probably better for houses that need to make more than just one cup of coffee at a time.

    • Capacity: 5 cups
    • Reusable, permanent filter
    • Pause and pour feature
    • Water level indicator
    • Affordable

This is the most affordable red coffee maker on the list but don’t let the price fool you, it still makes rich and flavorful coffee. As one of the best-selling items on Amazon, this little coffee maker is everything most households need in a coffee machine.

I like that it’s a little smaller than most other appliances you’ll see on this list because it leaves room on your countertop for other things. The removable, reusable filter is a great idea that will save you money in the long run and the brew-pause function lets you pour yourself a mug before the whole cycle is finished.

    • 4 cup sizes: 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, 12oz
    • Removable 52oz water tank
    • Auto shut off: 2 hours
    • Only work with K-cups

One thing that is worth mentioning about this Keurig is its simple menu. Little light bulbs will turn on to advise you when it’s time to add water to the Keurig or descale the coffee machine but there is nothing confusing about your options when it comes to brewing a cup. I find the K-Select to be ideal for family kitchen countertops.

This is the ideal option for pod coffee lovers because you’re getting a quality machine for a bargain since newer models have made this one a little less expensive. The newer designs have a larger water tank but unfortunately, they don’t come in red.

    • Capacity: 12 cups
    • Programable brewing timer
    • Reusable, permanent filter
    • 2 hour hot plate

This coffee maker is very similar to the first one I showed you. In fact, they look identical and share the same features. This model is a little more expensive, but does that mean it makes better coffee? I wouldn’t say so. I still prefer the Betty Crocker to this specific coffee maker but maybe you’ll see something I missed.

The cool features in this Gevi are the programable timer, which brews your morning cup of Joe before you wake up, the 2-hour hot plate that shuts off automatically, and the reusable filter which will save you money in the long run.

    • 4 cup sizes: 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, 12oz
    • Brews a cup in just over 1 minute
    • Auto shut off: 90 seconds
    • No water tank

The K-Mini fits almost anywhere and that’s the whole point. Most coffee makers are bulky, have large water containers, or glass a carafe which isn’t always ideal for small kitchens or dorm rooms. My favorite thing about the mini is the simplicity of the design.

The obvious downside to the mini is the lack of a water tank. You do have to pour in a fresh cup of water before each use. Not bad for individuals who don’t consume large amounts of coffee or people living alone.

    • Capacity: 12 cups
    • Programable brewing timer
    • Affordable
    • Requires paper filters

Mr. Coffee got it right with this red gem. It makes an average cup of Joe but it does look cool and eye-catchy on your countertop. The pot holds up to 12 cups of coffee at once making this a good fit for households that drink a lot of coffee. The obvious downside to this appliance is the requirement for a paper filter. Newer coffee makers have a reusable one instead.

Besides this model, Mr. Coffee makes a few other red coffee makers as well. They are all quite similar in quality but have a few different features.

    • Easy to operate
    • Built-in milk frother
    • 3-in-1 espresso machine
    • No drip coffee function

This may be the only coffee maker you ever need! It makes every type of coffee drink you can think of at the push of a button. Mr. Coffee will even froth your milk for a latte or a cappuccino. Most importantly the quality of your coffee will be simply outstanding.

The amazing features of this gem also include easy one-touch button brewing. There aren’t enough good things I can say about this red Mr. Coffee appliance. If you want to make cafe shop quality coffee drinks at home get yourself this bad boy and never spend a dollar on store-bought coffee again.

Get your morning coffee fix in a little retro style. This model features an easy-to-read backlit LED display and a push-button control panel that allows easy programming on the 24-hour clock and delay timer.

This specific model is eye-catching, but I don’t love the quality of the coffee it produces. If you’re looking for decoration this is definitely worth your time, but if you’re an avid coffee enthusiast you’ll want to look a little further up on this list.

    • Works with pods or ground coffee
    • Brews 6 to 14oz servings
    • Reusable filters
    • Inexpensive
    • Single-serve only

I had to include this single-serve coffee because it’s certainly worth mentioning. Having the ability to brew both grounds and coffee pods in one machine is a huge plus for anyone who likes to jump back and forth. The reusable coffee capsules included are perfect for making a single cup of coffee.

The unique feature of this bad boy is the compact size. It’s the most portable automatic coffee maker on this list. You’ll also enjoy the simple cleaning process as well. In simple terms, you get everything you need from a coffee maker in a small easy to use package when you choose the red Stamo.

    Manual Red Coffee Makers

    • 4 sizes: 12oz, 17oz, 34oz, 50oz
    • Fully personalized coffee
    • Powerless, portable
    • Dishwasher safe

If you enjoy brewing coffee with a French press you’ll absolutely adore this magnificently constructed coffee maker.

Obviously, it’s not the same things as just pressing a button and letting the machine do the work for you but pressing your own coffee has a lot of perks. One of them being completely personalized coffee. You can decide what grind size to use and how long to let the coffee steep for in a French press.

If you’re looking for a red manual coffee maker this is the best option for you!

    • Capacity: 6 cups
    • Powerless, portable
    • Affordable
    • Durable

One simple reason for having a Moka pot is the ability to make café quality coffee at home that’s relatively inexpensive. The affordability of a Moka pot puts other coffee brewers to shame.

When brewed correctly, coffee from a Moka pot will have a bold and pronounced flavor. Mostly recommended for people who enjoy the full and rich taste of coffee beans. If you are looking for the real bold taste of coffee, then the stovetop Moka pot is your answer.

Bialetti is one of the most recognizable names in the coffee community because of the quality of its coffee makers. Also, the Moka pot is one of the most identifiable coffee appliances on the planet, but having a red one would be really cool!

    Summary

Red is often associated with courage, passion, love, and joy. A red coffee machine will make your kitchen pop a bit more than a simple black or a stainless steel model. I’m positive that each time you look at a red coffee maker you’ll feel a little extra energy just from its active appearance.

That’s it for the best red coffee makers on the market today! My plan was to help you navigate the community and help you decide which one was better for you or your household. I hope I helped you make a decision.
